Affirmation of God: I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Today’s Scripture: I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:14 ESV

I do not even need to know what fearfully and wonderfully made even means yet I know I am. I know God made me and He knows me. I don’t understand it but I know it. My soul knows it very well.

Earlier in this chapter in Psalm 139:1 David said that the LORD knew him. The LORD also knows us. I feel just as overwhelmed as David did in Psalm 139:6 and confess that God Your knowledge is too wonderful and too great for me to understand or attain.

I am thankful for God’s knowledge of me, His knowledge of my ways. I am also thankful I do not have to understand for my soul to know it very well.

Do you know in your soul you are fearfully and wonderfully made?

Today’s Prayer: LORD God, I praise You. LORD, thank You for making me. Your creation and Your Spirit are too wonderful for me to understand. LORD thank You for creating and giving life to us every day. You know today and I ask You to keep me alert and with You. I am still with You God. Amen

  1. It is impossible to read this verse and not be shaken by the crime of abortion or any other crime against the wonderful work of God.

I agree, I don’t need to understand everything anymore–I just want to embrace God the way He embraces me, and receive all He wants me to be, and have. God bless you Tom–love, sis Cj

It is interesting sis that the more we do understand God the less we feel the need to understand. He has proven so much to us that we know to praise Him with thanksgiving. How wonderful are your words sis, to embrace Him as He embraces us….now that is a BIG embrace and I am all in with you. Blessings and embracing! Tom
