Treasure seeker of affirmations and promises from the word of God
I have experienced the results of stating an affirmation and seeing the reality of becoming what we state with our mouth and believe with our hearts. Following the affirmations the world suggested I found myself broken and unfulfilled.
This page is operating on the belief that every affirmation we would ever need is in the Holy Scriptures. The Holy Spirit guides me as I search the scriptures and claim the beliefs, traits, and characteristics of who God calls us to be.
These affirmations have been harvested from scripture but are NOT scripture. I only seek God’s Holy Spirit’s guidance and ask Him to write these upon the tablets of our hearts. I pray these affirmations touch the hearts of those God intends and that I will remain faithful to the call.
Thanks for dropping by!

Yes Bill, just started last week and trying to figure out the blog world. My buddy Robin suggested I follow you and I plan to do so. I am so new I am just trying to figure out how to respond to comments!!??
See…so new I couldn’t even figure out how to open up the entire comment! I now see your kind words and prayers. I so appreciate that and look forward to further discussions and seeing how God uses us all in this process. When I figure out what google reader is I will put you on there as well. Wow – I am so PROUD of you – I did not realize these were “yours” until today! I thought they were some sort of Facebook ap, so sorry, they are wonderful ! ! ! I’m gonna put you on our Family Blog and share you with our friends! I am really impressed, good work, Cousin! : )
Thank you Kim. Well they are my story and God is revealing Himself through this I believe. These affirmations are certainly the LORD’s use of my life to hopefully assist others. I have done this for @ six months now and just pray to be faithful. I am still unclear as to what God is doing here but will tell you I pray others will feel the Holy Spirit the way God has used this process to fill my heart. He is so awesome and I have fallen in love with His word and I now know Him in a real and personal way. Please chime in at any time with comments or questions. I pray God’s will be done! Keep in touch Kim!
Nelson, thanks for dropping by if you really did. Since you profess to be a Deist I am thinking you probably just spammed me as when I read the definition of a “Deist” this is complete evidence of the warning on today’s scripture. We are not to lean on our own understanding and experientually I have found the belief that God does not get intimately involved in our lives to be inaccurate. Hope you will return some time and have a hope that God will touch your life in a real and personal way. He has in mine.
I did not spam you. Sorry you feel that I did – I am a real person. Deism is a belief in God based on Reason. I was a Christian for the first 32 years of my life. Then I spent over a year trying to rebuild my faith – I did that by reading the Bible from cover to cover 3 times (NIV, ESV, and KJV). I spent no less than 2 hours a day studying it. While I find it contains a lot of moral lessons, I also found a lot of violence, dogma, and injustice and I hold our Creator to a higher level than that of a personalized being that throws temper tantrums. If you read Joshua and Judges you have to expel your sense of reason and I don’t believe God granted us with such a gift with the intent for us to suspend it in any way. I won’t mention my thoughts on Saul/Paul.
I apologize if I offend you or anyone else with my beliefs or words. I do not mean to offend or influence anyone to believe the way I do. You do a great job on your blog though. Yes, this evil heretic finds your work to be inspiring.
Actually I am glad you are a real person. Some of the spammer’s are creative as you know. Thanks for your background. I have experienced where you were and where you are. I am NOT offended by your beliefs or words. I respect where you are as I have been there. Although I never knew what a Deist was by your explanation I probably was one. Please keep coming back and keep seeking. The new covenant is one of love. If I have learned one thing it is how much I do not know but I am extremely confident that God is omniscient and way beyond my understanding. Keep seeking and praying and seek to know God and His Spirit. He will reveal to you His love. The Holy Spirit is as real as the screens before us and I am not afraid nor offended with those who are seeking. Seeking is the beginning finding is amazing. Nelson, keep coming back and I look forward to witnessing your journey as I have faith that God will reveal himself to you in ways beyond your understanding…as I know he has me and shaken and changed me. Thanks for coming back and don’t be a stranger.
I am inspired by your humility Tom. Keep up the solid posts!
